Elbing, Kansas is located in rural southcentral Kansas. Elbing is pronounced "el" -- like the twelfth letter of the alphabet and "bing" -- like the cherry which rhymes with "ring." It is located twelve miles east of Newton, Kansas and six miles north of Whitewater, Kansas. The town has a population of about two hundred and fifty people.
